This was a fantastic read- thank you. I find the concept of senioritis interesting as I work in a K-6 building, and when the students move up its essentially to another district (7-12). The 6th graders know they're leaving and while the educators reminisce and wish the students well, you can see that the kids showing some senioritis- they know they're not going to be challenged, especially in the behavior domain because they are moving to another district (even if it's only a few miles away).
