The iPad app I can’t live without…

  • Visual supports- there are good pictures for every word that can have one. Nonsense words are written in text, and that’s okay with me (you don’t need to make pictures of aliens for “muh”).
  • Audio presentations- this is crucial because it gives the students the ability to either listen to your presentation or hear the iPad produce the sound. Strangely enough, some kids get a kick out of hearing the computer voice and will prefer that one (I know my voice is not melodious).
